Through writting this blog and exploring other's blogsd i have been able to analyse them and look at them from different perspectives! although alot of scaffolding is needed in how to use the blog and how to insert different pictues and videos and ICT tools, with a lesson on how to use the blog and make an entry, this can be easiliy learnt.

My Teaching Experience:
I haven’t had a teaching experience with blogging just yet. However feel I will use blogs in my future practise! Throughout this course I have investigated and experienced blogs very in-depth and used a variety of applications within blogs. I have had other students help me navigate around the blog and show me how to add images and videos. After this scaffolding was done by my peer and lecturer ‘Ali Black’ (thanks Ali), I now am able to do it myself. I can take this learning experience and apply it to my teaching by scaffolding the learners how to use the blogs.
The reason I feel blogs are effect is because any application can be embedded into the blog and people can comment on other’s thoughts and ideas. A blog is a place for personal reflection on learning. As a learner reflection is a massive part as it helps evaluate your actions and improve your performance in the future! I believe blogs can assist in the classroom as it can a place to reflect what the students have learnt each lesson and all comment and view what other students took out of the lesson. By being able to consulate with other blogs the students can access information they may have misunderstood, misinterpreted, missed or just didn’t understand! I feel blogs are a great tool and if used in the correct way will be an effective ICT tool.

I'm impressed with the blog too Jess, what a great way to share ideas and perspectives on learning. I have gained so much from reading all my fellow learner's blogs. There is such a wide range of knowledge and creative ideas out there, why not share; as a future teacher it can only benefit us.
